Brief

KAZKA is a Ukrainian music band that performs pop music with elements of electro-folk.
Since its inception in 2017, vocalist Oleksandra Zaritska, flute player Dmytro Mazuryak and multi-instrumentalist Mykyta Budash have already become the "Band of the Year" according to the M1 Music Awards, the first Ukrainian-language band to reach the world-famous YouTube chart among Ukrainian artists and SHAZAM. "Plakala" (a single from KARMA's debut album) topped the music charts in a dozen countries, including Ukraine, Latvia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Russia, Turkey, Colombia and others, and broke many music records in the CIS.For the first time, the band "KAZKA" announced itself on March 1, 2017 with the debut release of the song "Holy", which immediately became a hit and conquered the radio stations of Ukraine. Initially, the band consisted of vocalist Oleksandra Zaritska and multi-instrumentalist Mykyta Budash (guitar, keyboards), who also works on arranging and directing songs. It was on this song that the band's debut music video, directed by Serhiy Tkachenko, was released in September.In 2017, the band took part in the casting of the eighth season of the show "X-Factor" with the author's song "Holy". Andriy Danylko became the band's coach on the project. According to the results of the audience voting, the musicians of "KAZKA" left the show on the 5th air. Immediately after the project, the band presented the second single "Wonders", which on the day of the premiere took first place in the top chart of iTunes.At the end of the year, the band was named "Best Debut of the Year" according to the online magazine Karabas Live.On February 6, 2019, the band performed in the semifinals of the selection for "Eurovision 2019" with the first English single "Apart" [1][1] From the free encyclopedia Wikipedia
